Product Questions & Answers
What is this product, in one sentence?
▼
It is a branded match-3 game that visitors play on their own phones at your exhibition stand, which turns every player into a contact you download from a dashboard.
How does it generate leads at an exhibition?
▼
The visitor scans a QR code on your stand, completes your form before the first swap, plays for about sixty seconds, and sees their score on a live leaderboard. The form is the price of playing, so it gets filled in properly, and the lead is in your dashboard immediately.
What exactly do I receive when I reserve a game?
▼
A branded game on its own link, a print-ready QR code in SVG and PNG, a preview link to test on your own phone, a kiosk link for a stand iPad, a live leaderboard page for a TV, and an exhibitor dashboard with live stats and Excel, CSV and PDF downloads of every lead.
Is anything shipped to me?
▼
No. This is a virtual product delivered online as a link, a QR code file and dashboard access, so there is no courier, no shipping charge and no delivery date to check at checkout.
How is the winner decided?
▼
By the highest score. A score ranking invites the replay, so visitors who finish fourth come back to try again, and each attempt is another sixty seconds in front of your team.
How does the scoring work?
▼
Clearing a line of three or more removes those tiles, the board collapses, new tiles fall in, and any new line that forms clears again as a cascade at a higher multiplier. Longer lines pay an extra bonus, so one well-chosen swap can be worth far more than three ordinary ones.
How long does one game take?
▼
About sixty seconds by default, which is short enough for a corridor and long enough for your team to start a conversation. The round length can be set anywhere from 10 to 300 seconds.
How big is the board, and can we make the game easier or harder?
▼
Eight by eight with six tile types as standard. Difficulty is set by the number of tile types: four makes an easy, high-scoring game for consumer shows and seven makes a harder one for a technical audience. The board size can be changed too.
Can the game carry our branding only?
▼
Yes. Your logo, your exact brand colours, your game title, your tagline and your prize text appear on every player screen. No supplier branding is shown to visitors anywhere.
Can we use our own icons instead of gems?
▼
Yes. The tiles can be replaced with your own icons, product images or category symbols, so visitors spend sixty seconds lining up your products rather than generic gems.
What can be customised in the lead form?
▼
Everything. The defaults are full name, email, mobile and company, and you can add your own fields as text, telephone, email, a dropdown with up to thirty options, or a tick box, and mark any of them required. The consent wording, the privacy link, the marketing opt-in line and the submit-button label are yours too.
Do visitors need to download an app?
▼
No. The game runs in the phone browser. A visitor points their camera at the QR code and is playing within seconds on iPhone or Android, portrait or landscape.
Can visitors play on a tablet at our stand instead of their own phone?
▼
Yes. A kiosk mode runs on an iPad or Android tablet at the stand, resets itself between players and wipes the previous visitor's details before the next person touches it.
How many people can play at the same time?
▼
There is no queue, because everyone plays on their own phone. Ten or more visitors can scan and play simultaneously at the same stand.
Does it work on venue Wi-Fi?
▼
Yes. The game is small, loads in about a second on 4G and streams nothing. Busy venue Wi-Fi where hundreds of visitors share one network address is handled by a per-network limit that can be raised for your show.
What happens if a phone loses signal during a game?
▼
The result is submitted as soon as the phone reconnects, so the visitor does not lose their place on the leaderboard.
How do I get the leads out?
▼
Log in to the dashboard from your phone at the stand or from the office. Leads appear live, and you can download Excel, CSV or PDF at any time, as often as you like.
What information is in each lead row?
▼
Name, email, mobile, company, the answers to your own questions, the consent record and the marketing opt-in, each with a timestamp.
Can people cheat the leaderboard?
▼
No. The score is recomputed on our server from the swaps the phone reports, so an edited score is rejected and an invalid swap is treated as tampering. The move rate is capped and implausible results are flagged in your dashboard for a human to check before a prize is handed over.
Is visitor data compliant with UAE rules?
▼
The data belongs to you. Every lead carries a consent record with the text version shown, the time and the device, plus a separate marketing opt-in that is never pre-ticked, in line with UAE PDPL and GDPR-style practice. Data is stored in the UAE, never sold or shared, and deleted automatically after the retention period.
How long is visitor data kept?
▼
It is deleted automatically 90 days after the event, or 365 days after you have exported it, whichever applies.
Will visitors see each other's contact details on the leaderboard?
▼
No. The leaderboard shows first names and initials with scores and medal icons. It never displays an email address or a phone number.
What languages are supported?
▼
English, Arabic with a full right-to-left layout, Spanish and Chinese, for both the player screens and the exhibitor dashboard. The browser language is detected and the visitor can switch.
How fast can you set it up?
▼
Normally within 24 hours of the order, once you have sent a logo, two colours, the prize line and the questions you want. Last-minute setup during a show that has already opened is possible on request.
Can we test the game before the show opens?
▼
Yes. Until the start date the public link shows a Coming soon page with a staff password box, so your team can play the real game while test plays stay out of the leaderboard and the lead list. You also get a separate preview link.
What do you need from us to build it?
▼
A logo as SVG, PNG or high-resolution JPG, two brand colours as hex codes, a game title and tagline, a prize line, your list of form questions and the exact show dates. Send your own tile icons as well if you want them on the board.
Is the price per show or per day?
▼
The price on this page is per exhibition day, so a three-day show is three days. There is no annual licence, no set-up fee and no charge per lead.
Do we need one game for each day of the show?
▼
No. One game is set up per stand per event and runs for the exact dates you reserve, with the leaderboard and the lead list carrying across the whole show.
Can we run this at more than one stand?
▼
Yes, but each stand gets its own game, its own QR code and its own leaderboard, so the scores and the leads never mix.
Which exhibitions and venues does this work for?
▼
Any show with mobile coverage. It is used at Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai, ADNEC Abu Dhabi, Expo Centre Sharjah, Dubai Harbour, Festival Arena and hotel conference venues, and it fits a three-by-three metre shell scheme as easily as a large island stand.
Do you cover Abu Dhabi and Sharjah?
▼
Yes. Delivery is online, so the game works at any venue in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, and across Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman.
What should the prize be?
▼
Something people want to win in public, such as a tablet, a weekend stay, a product bundle or a draw among the top ten. Announce the time of the draw in your prize text so the crowd comes back to the stand for it.
Can I switch to the memory game at my next show?
▼
Yes. Both games share the same platform, branding and dashboard, so you can run the match-3 game at one exhibition and the memory game at the next without setting your brand up again.
Can you print the QR code material as well?
▼
Yes. PrintOnline prints roll-up banners, counter cards, table talkers, backdrops, badges, lanyards and T-shirts, so the game and the printed material carrying its QR code come from the same company on the same invoice.
Is this an exhibition giveaway?
▼
It replaces one. Instead of handing out an item that ends up in a hotel bin, you give visitors a reason to stay, play and compete for a prize worth winning, and you keep a contact record for every person who played.
How many leads should we expect?
▼
It depends on footfall, how good the prize is and how visible the QR code is. A busy stand with a strong prize and the QR printed on the roll-up, the counter and staff shirts converts a large share of the people who stop, and your dashboard funnel shows your own real conversion rate from scans to finished games.
Which game is better for a consumer show?
▼
This match-3 game, usually. The motion reads from several metres away, the rules need no explanation, and the high-score format keeps visitors replaying while they wait to speak to someone.
