What custom lanyards are

Materials

20mm width
This product comes in a 20mm width, a standard, comfortable width suited to everyday ID-badge wear. PrintOnline's other lanyard product runs at 25mm if you want more printable area.
Printing methods
This product uses CMYK sublimation printing, full colour, on both the front and the back of the strap, so your branding stays visible whichever way the lanyard twists.
One limitation to understand before you commit artwork: metallic colours, Pantone colours and other special colours are not available on this product. Sublimation reproduces your design in CMYK. If your brand standards hang on an exact Pantone match or a metallic finish, raise that with PrintOnline before production rather than after. Hooks and accessories
Every lanyard includes one metal hook as standard, for attaching an ID card holder, badge or event credential. Four more accessories can be added on the same product page, each at extra cost:
- ID card holder, for employee ID cards, visitor cards and event badges. AED 5 for one, falling to AED 3 each at 100 and AED 2.50 each at 1,000.
- Rigid ID card holder, a more structured holder for identification cards.
- Safety breaker, the breakaway clasp described below.
- Buckle, which lets the badge section detach from the neck strap.
The lanyard itself is the product; PVC ID cards are not included in the base price, but you can add holders to the same order rather than sourcing them elsewhere.
Safety breakers
A safety breakaway clasp is available on this product, as a selectable accessory. It releases under pressure, which is why it is a standard requirement in workplaces with machinery, in schools, and anywhere a fixed loop around the neck is a hazard. Pricing starts at roughly AED 1 per lanyard and falls with volume, so on a company-wide order it adds very little. If your workplace needs it, select it at ordering; it is not fitted by default.
Quantity
The minimum order is 1 unit and the maximum is 5,000, with per-unit pricing falling steeply in between.

A single printed lanyard is AED 50. The per-unit rate drops sharply with volume, which is the whole economics of this product:

An unprinted plain white lanyard is AED 7.40 for a single piece, useful if you only want to check the strap itself before committing to a print run. Artwork
Submit your logo or design for full-colour front and back printing. A simplified, high-contrast version of your logo generally reproduces most clearly at 20mm. Variable-data printing is not available on this product: one approved design is printed across the whole batch, so individual names and numbers belong on the ID card the lanyard holds. Production
Standard production dispatches in 5 working days. Rush production dispatches in 2 working days for a surcharge that scales with order size, from AED 40 on small printed runs upward. The production clock starts when you approve the artwork, not when you pay, so your own turnaround on the mockup is part of the timeline.
Delivery
Choose your delivery location (Dubai/Sharjah/Ajman city limits, or other Emirates, which covers Abu Dhabi), then your mode: courier, 1 to 2 days after production and included, or a special driver within 6 working hours (AED 50) or 10 working hours (AED 150) of production finishing. Remote locations need additional time. Check the delivery date shown during ordering before you pay.
