3mm: flat and slim
The thinnest option, closer to a flat cut-out than a dimensional one. It suits door signage, room names and small wall signs where the sign needs to be legible and neat without demanding much depth or presence. It is also the most economical thickness, and the natural choice for smaller lettering where a thicker profile would look disproportionate to the letter size.
6mm: moderate depth
Enough thickness to cast a visible shadow and read as genuinely dimensional, without the bulk of the heavier options. This is the thickness most reception signs are made in: substantial enough to look considered, not so heavy that it looks over-built for a standard reception logo at typical letter heights.
8mm: stronger depth
A clearly stronger shadow line and more physical presence, suited to full wall installations where the letters need to hold their own across a larger surface or from further viewing distances, such as a lobby wall or a wall visible from across an open office floor.
10mm: deepest
The maximum thickness available and the strongest dimensional effect PrintOnline offers on this product. Reserved for large reception logos and feature walls, where the letters are the primary visual element of the space and the depth of the shadow is part of the design statement, not just a finishing touch.

Two custom large sizes are also available at 10mm only: 200 x 55 cm at AED 950 and 80 x 80 cm at AED 875. The jump in price from thinnest to thickest at any given size is modest, typically AED 5 to 50, so thickness is worth choosing on appearance rather than budget once you have settled on a size. Size drives the price far more than thickness does.
Colours and multicolour logos
Acrylic cut-out letters come in black, transparent or white. For a multicolour logo, the colour is applied as a sticker on top of the cut acrylic shape rather than moulded into the material itself, since the acrylic itself is a single solid colour per piece.
