Five illustrative scenarios
Restaurant: kitchen and delivery staff wear a dark cap with a simple one-colour wordmark. Construction company: a bold logo that stays readable from a distance; avoid small taglines. Retail team: a cap that matches the shop uniform, with the logo on the front. Exhibition stand: bright caps for the stand team, placed for photos, with the booth number kept off if it changes. Sports club: team colours, crest simplified for stitching or screen print.
Choose a cap colour that works with your logo
Cap colours differ by product: the personalized cap page lists 12 colours (white, black, yellow, deep yellow, orange, red, green, dark green, cyan, blue, purple, pink), and the sports cap lists white with maroon, navy blue, pink, red or royal blue. Pick strong contrast between logo and cap: light logo on dark cap, or the reverse. Avoid a logo colour close to the cap colour. Exact colour matching is not promised on these pages.
Front, side and back placement
The caps page lists decoration "spots": "1 spot (front only)" and "2 spots (front+back OR front+1 side)". Which areas are available depends on the chosen cap. Front is the standard logo spot; side and back suit a website, slogan or secondary mark. Check the maximum area shown on the product page image.
Artwork format and simplifying
Provide a vector logo (PDF, AI or EPS) in the colours you want. Formats are not stated on the cap pages, so confirm. Small and thin shapes or text cannot be printed on the caps page, so simplify taglines and hairlines. See preparing your logo and printing vs embroidery.
Ordering checklist
- Quantity (including a few spare caps).
- Cap type and colour.
- Artwork file, simplified for the method.
- Method: print, embroidery or 3D embroidery.
- Proof approval: who signs off, and by when.
- Deadline: the date caps must be in your hands, not the date you order.
Production time vs delivery transit time
