How to Order Custom Canvas Prints Online in Dubai

This is a detailed walk-through of PrintOnline's actual canvas ordering process, using real steps and figures rather than a generic checklist.

Step 1: Select size

Choose from PrintOnline's standard A5 to A0 sizes, square formats, or panoramic formats. Full pricing for every size is in the canvas print size guide; a custom size is also available on request.

Step 2: Select quantity

Choose how many canvases you need; the selector runs 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6, with bulk pricing applied automatically as the quantity goes up. Note that the size list is filtered by the quantity you pick, so set the quantity first and then choose the size, or the size you want may not appear. Step 3: Upload image

Upload your original, highest-resolution photo. See what photos look best on canvas for resolution guidance, particularly important if you're ordering a larger A1 or A0 size.

Step 4: Select sides

Choose your side treatment: white sides (image stays frontal, edges finished in white) or stretched image sides (your image continues around the frame, consuming a few centimetres of the picture in the process). Custom instructions can also be given at this step if needed. Keep anything important at least 10% in from the edges of your artwork either way, as PrintOnline's own guidelines ask.

Step 5: Select production

Step 6: Select delivery

Choose courier delivery (1-2 days after production) or special driver delivery (6 or 10 working hours after production, AED 50-150), covering Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman city limits plus other Emirates.

Step 7: Check delivery date

Step 8: Artwork approval

Production time for canvas orders begins only after artwork approval, not from the moment you place your order, so factor in your own response time when checking your expected delivery date. This is also the point to be clear with yourself about colour: colour matching is not offered on canvas, and the finished print can differ from the digital mockup by up to 20%. If exact colour is critical, say so before approving rather than after delivery.

Step 9: Production

Once approved, your canvas goes into production on your selected standard or express timeline.

Step 10: Delivery

Your canvas arrives via your chosen delivery method, ready to hang, no additional framing needed.

A second canvas option: with LED backlighting

PrintOnline also offers a Custom Canvas Printing with Wooden Frame product with the same core sizing (A4 through A0, plus square options like 60x60cm) and the same white/stretched side choice, but with two differences worth knowing before you choose between them:

Its standard production is 6 working days, against 4 working days on the main canvas product, with a 3-working-day urgent option at AED 25 to AED 75 depending on size. If your canvas is a gift tied to a date, that difference matters.
It offers an optional LED backlighting upgrade, in two forms: battery and remote operated at AED 95, for a wall with no socket nearby, or cable with WiFi/Bluetooth control at AED 125, for a mains-powered piece you can control from an app or remote. You can also select "not required" and order it as a standard unlit canvas.
