Self-Inking Company Stamp: The Right Choice for Daily Office Use in the UAE
Ask any stamp maker in Dubai what most companies buy and the answer is a self-inking company stamp. It is the stamp you see on bank counters, at typing centres, in clinics and in every accounts department, and there are good reasons for that.
How a self-inking stamp works
A self-inking stamp has the ink pad built into the body. The rubber plate with your company name rests against the pad; when you press down, the plate flips over, prints on the paper, and flips back onto the pad as you release. There is no separate ink pad to keep on the desk, no smudged fingers, and every impression is evenly inked. A good model gives thousands of clean impressions, and the pad can be re-inked or replaced when it fades, so the stamp stays in service for 2 to 5 years.
Self-inking vs traditional rubber stamp
- Speed: self-inking wins for anyone stamping more than a few documents a day.
- Cleanliness: the pad is enclosed, so no ink on desks, sleeves or documents.
- Consistency: every impression has the same ink density, which matters on bank and government forms.
- Colour flexibility: traditional stamps can switch colours by changing pads; a self-inking stamp is normally one colour, though two-colour pads are possible when the design elements are at least 2 mm apart.

Sizes, shapes and brands
Self-inking company stamps come in round, oval, square and rectangular bodies. Popular company stamp sizes are 30 mm and 38 mm round for a corporate seal, and 39 x 22 mm, 45 x 15 mm, 55 x 20 mm and 65 x 23 mm rectangles for full contact details. Ink colours
Blue is the default and is included in the price. Black, red, green, sky blue and deep yellow are available for AED 25 extra. Blue remains the most common colour for UAE company stamps because it stands out clearly from black printed text and photocopies, making an original stamped document easy to distinguish from a copy.
